Thє Oηe

Ya Rabb, Please grant me the one
Who will be the garment for my soul
Who will satisfy half of my deen
And in doing so make me whole

Make him righteous and on your path
In all he'll do and also say
Reminding me to always pray

May he earn from halaal sources
And spend within his means
May he seek Allah's guidance always
To fulfill all his dreams

May he always refer to Qur'an
and the Sunnah as his moral guide
May he thank and appreciate Allah
For the woman at his side

May he be conscious of his anger
And often fast and pray
Be charitable and sensitive
In every possible way

May he honour and protect me
And guide me in this life
And make me worthy
to be his loving wife

And finally, O Allah!
Make him abundant in love and laughter
In taqwa and sincerity
In striving for the hereafter

During the endless days…
And the darkened nights…
I waited upon your return

So I could adjust my ways…
And achieve my rights…
& all the bad memories, you burn

With every tear that I cried
I saw you; envisioning you near
It’s funny how many times I lied
Telling myself you’d come next year

Where were you… When my life fell apart…
I waited for you… Through painful dart…
I called out to you… you never replied…
I gave up on you…last time I died.

Listen closely to the rhythm of the cries
Choked out in sobs from where the heart lies
Torn apart, in a chamber, where none can see
Locked and chained, in the dark, where it’ll always be

Watch the scars blossom in the cloak of the night
Then twinkle with the stars when they can no longer fight
Open up in surrender and pour out the pain
Hidden so deep within, it’ll drive you insane

Touch the ice cold skin & read between the lines
Of regret and loneliness and weak vital signs
That dies with every passing day
Silently thudding words it cannot say.

There in the sadness we are less sensitive to the sublime and we do not remember. We are detached, we are blackened by madness and we are flattened from our selves as spheres into droning circles, opaque with the fear of what cannot be seen. we are just like before, mirrored and folded, over and over leveled down to our auxiliaries . and that's the hereafter , the where, the part when despair is found as part of the foundation of our re-birth into the great ever

My Wσrld

In my perfect little world, people greet,
they kiss and hug each time they meet.
Friends hold hands, and calm your fears;
they stick around to wipe your tears.

But in the world today, we just don’t care,
and showing love is somewhat rare.
When times are fun all friends are near,
then things get tough and most disappear.

In my perfect little world, we give and share;
we make it a point, to show we care.
We live to love, and love to live,
and find it easy to forgive.

But in the world today we strive on greed,
and crave the things we rarely need.
We step on others to get our way,
and hurt with what we do or say.

In my perfect little world, children smile,
and parents go that extra mile.
No child is ever harmed or hurt,
abused or treated just like dirt.

But in the world today most people cry,
and only pray in case they die.
We’ve given in to all that’s bad,
and then complain that life is hard.

In my perfect little world were all the same
and life is not a spiteful game.
People are loyal, honest and just,
and value the gift of friendship and trust.

But in the world today it seems,
we’ve lost all hope or goals and dreams.
Malicious acts are seen as witty,
I think it’s sad and such a pity.

Thє Pєrfєct Mαη

He's reserved and not a extrovert,

Society would say.

He has no classy attributes,

To help him on his way.

He's not a fancy dresser,

And quite simple, trimmed and neat.

With standard clothes but stylish shoes,

He wears upon his feet.

He doesn't belong to high society,

Or drive a shiny car.

And when he takes vacations,

He does not go that very far.

He doesn't dine on fine cuisine,

To him fast food's is sweet,

And he may just use a plastic fork,

When it's time to eat.

He has a modest little house,

But may have all of what he needs.

He keeps his lawn cut nice and short,

And would even trims his weeds.

He works long hours at his job,

To make an average pay.

And even if he's sick or tired,

He goes to work each day.

His job NO LESS a trying job,

His pay will make ends meet.

But a few good friends and family,

Makes his life complete.

He's not well versed in poetry,

Theater or the arts.

And spirituality is new to him,

That he would constantly impart.

He loves the simple things in life,

For riches doesn't thirst.

He knows what is important,

Is home and family.. first.

The wealth that God could give him,

To treasure in his life,

Would be a loving son or daughter,

And a very special wife.

He has no large amounts of money,

And his life is not a show,

But if he had these blessings as such

He would be the richest man I know.

To others he's a simple man,

And fame he's never had,

But he could be the greatest man ,

I could have ever known..

A man i would be proud to have.

And there is nothing better to move on from the past

I believe that good things come to those who wait

I believe love never arrives too late

I believe something good comes from something bad

I believe that for tears of happiness there are tears of sad

I believe everyone has a guardian angel

And the good you do sees the Divine explanation

I believe sometimes there is no explanation

I believe money is disturbing peoples motivation

I believe you don't know what you've got until it's gone

I believe a new day arrives with every dawn

I believe a smile can be contagious

I believe in being very spontaneous

I believe in living with depth

I believe to never regret

I believe that God watches over us

I believe that to love is to trust

I believe you meet for a reason

I believe that what comes first is family

I believe we should all live in harmony

I believe in making the most of a beautiful day

And it's not the end until everything's okay

I believe absence makes the heart grow fonder

I believe you will lose if you sit and wonder

I believe every experience teaches you a lesson

And nothing cures better then higher ascension

I believe sometimes we need to look above

I believe the whole world is a stage

I believe we only get better with age

I believe that to learn you have to live

I believe one moment can change your life

For better or worse , you'll come out alright
